SwiftKit News

SwiftKit for iOS now available!

Hot off the heels of the great success that is SwiftKit Mobile for Android, today we release SwiftKit Mobile for iOS. The scrumptious app, built by our very own in-house Objective-C developer, dTwizy, is now available on the iTunes App Store in both a paid and free version. Read more for the details on how to get this great app!

If you've ever used the Android version before, you'll find the look and feel of our iOS app very similar. We are very pleased with the modern yet simplistic design of both apps. Some of the features you can enjoy from our iOS app:

* Stats lookup
* Price lookup (with graphs)
* Alchemy lookup
* Latest RuneScape news
* XP table
* Username Availability Checker (paid version only)
* World Map

You can support our development by purchasing the paid version of the app (at a very modest price), however we have also released a free version with dimminished features and advertisements to support it.

Just search for 'SwiftKit' on the iTunes store! Or click one of the links below:

We hope you enjoy the app as much as we loved developing it!

Happy scaping!

It crashes immediately after opening.

I love the app but I prefer the Free Droid version over the paid iOS version. I could use the adventure log as well as the high scores being separate from the GE and alchemy section. 7/10

This app seems amazing. Sadly, I don't have an android device. I would love to see this application come to Windows Phone 7. It'd be a great app to have.

@Michelle have you tried uninstalling it and putting it back on again?

In all fairness since out of the box Apple products are the same and your the only one that I know of to have an issue with a SwiftKit and a 4th gen iPod touch it would seem to me that it is more likely an issue on your end not with SwiftKit it's self.

Waiting for the next update. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my iPod 4G, and it crashed every time I tried to open it. I really suggest this getting fixed.

Quick question for people that keep saying 'it doesnt work!'.

Is your device jailbroken? Jailbreaking will most likely strip the stability of your iPhone down to bare bones, and if that's the case then you will just have to live with it.

Saying what is actually wrong would help more than just saying "it doesn't work".

TTimoNN @ 25 2011 03:44 am

lite version doesnt work and till it got fixed i wont buy the full version

#19
Ethan @ 19 2011 07:29 pm

Oh and you iOS users get a world map and item graph. We android users have the adventurer's log though.

#18
Ethan @ 19 2011 07:24 pm

@Adam - Android version isn't completely free. You need to pay to get the name lookup and combat calculator

#17
Adam @ 18 2011 03:55 pm

Why does Android get completely free version but iOS users have to pay? O_o

#16
Yoda @ 08 2011 03:24 pm

oh ok

#15
Mak @ 07 2011 02:42 am

Not really, not enough users to warrant the development time.

#14
Brock @ 06 2011 10:56 pm

Are there plans for a Blackberry version?

#13
Trustytomato @ 06 2011 10:00 am

When you try to open the lite version, it closes after about 5 seconds.

Mak @ 03 2011 04:11 pm

Remember it's a mobile application. Enough said.

Don't worry Zettklo, it will be a continuous project, very much like SwiftKit for the desktop. I can confirm Zybez radio is coming to the next version ;)

#8
cMF Zettklo @ 03 2011 05:51 am

looks great... radio would be nice, world map is cool, name checker isn't really usefull... nobody really reads the news unless it's huge... xp table = boring. overall, it's a nice app, but it's honestly FAR from being finished...

#7
Herculez @ 02 2011 08:52 pm

Add quest tracker, task tracker, maybe a quick note section, and the zybez radio to the paid version and it will be well worth it. :] good job and I hope there will be more updates often.

#6
RSfan @ 02 2011 04:29 pm

they should add some quest guides in the complete version "/

#5
W13 @ 02 2011 03:34 am

Looks pro.

#4
Mak @ 02 2011 02:48 am

There's no point, there are already great apps like Colloquy out there to do that.

#3
Javier @ 02 2011 02:39 am

Should add irc to the app and it'd be better, but cool app.

#2
Spookie Pie @ 02 2011 12:23 am

Fantastic - AT LAST :D
